Four Days at Miller Motorsports Park
2007-05-06
MotoCzysz completed 4 days of development work on the 07 C1 990 at the beautiful Miller Motorsports Park facility during the Racing to Save Lives charity event. While development on the bike was carried out by Michael Czysz and the MotoCzysz engineers, attendees were treated to seeing and hearing the bike in action, culminating with some exciting laps with local hot shot Shane Turpin piloting the bike.
Shane Turpin, thrilled with the opportunity to ride the C1, had a lot of positive things to say and provided the team with valuable feedback.
"By the 4th corner I was totally comfortable on the bike, there was no vibration the transmission shifted better than anything I had ever been on, the bike felt like a 250GP bike. It was Unreal. I felt like I could put the C1 anywhere I wanted on the track. Michael asked me if I wanted to ride it again, only this time to "ride it like you know how to ride..." So I had 2 laps to put my head down and let it rip. So far it’s the best 2 laps of my life. The bike was so good from the handling to the brakes to the motor."
All in all, the 4 days were a great success. MotoCzysz was honored to be a part of the Racing to Save Lives charity and Miller Motorsports Park is an incredible and professional facility to spend time at.
